Data Entry Specialist

 (Contract / 1099 / Part-time/ Full-time)


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly disciplined, detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support critical business operations through accurate and timely data management. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity, reliability, and accessibility of company data. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for handling high volumes of sensitive and time-critical information, ensuring all entries are completed with precision and in full compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role. As such, individuals are responsible for managing their own schedule within company expectations, maintaining consistent performance, and fulfilling all contractual obligations. Contractors must demonstrate a high level of accountability, self-direction, and professionalism at all times.

This is a structured, performance-driven role that requires focus, consistency, and strict adherence to guidelines. Individuals must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Productivity and quality metrics will be closely monitored, and consistent performance is required. This role is best suited for individuals who are highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet rigorous expectations without constant supervision.

To support your success, all necessary equipment will be provided by the company. Contractors are expected to maintain this equipment in good working condition and use it strictly for authorized business purposes.

Please note: This position will officially open on June 15th.

Training Schedule:
Training will take place Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full attendance and punctuality during training hours are required, as this period is critical for learning systems, procedures, and performance expectations.

                 

Operational Hours:
Once training is completed, standard operational hours will also run Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Contractors are expected to be fully available and actively engaged during these hours to meet performance and productivity requirements.

 Pay information:

  • $17.60 / Hour 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain large volumes of data across multiple systems, ensuring zero deviation from established processes

  • Review and verify source documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to data entry

  • Identify and correct errors, discrepancies, and missing information in a timely manner

  • Conduct routine audits of entered data to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance

  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive, proprietary, or personal information

  • Follow all formatting, naming conventions, and data handling procedures without exception

  • Meet or exceed defined daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and accuracy benchmarks

  • Document completed work, error rates, and corrections in accordance with reporting standards

  • Organize and maintain digital files and records for easy retrieval and compliance with internal policies

  • Communicate promptly regarding data inconsistencies, system issues, or workflow concerns

  • Participate in data cleanup initiatives, system updates, and migration projects as assigned

  • Adhere to all applicable policies, contractual terms, and performance expectations

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or a similar role requiring high attention to detail

  • Strong typing skills with demonstrated speed and accuracy

  • Proficiency in computer systems, including spreadsheets, databases, and standard office applications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing error-free work

  • Ability to manage repetitive tasks without loss of focus or quality

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in high-volume or performance-based data entry environments

  • Familiarity with data validation, auditing, and quality assurance processes

  • Prior experience handling confidential or regulated information

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and workflows

Work Environment and Expectations:

This position operates in a highly structured and metrics-driven environment where performance is continuously evaluated. Accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to procedures are critical to success. Contractors are expected to maintain consistent output levels and demonstrate accountability in all aspects of their work.

As this is an independent contractor role, individuals are responsible for managing their own work schedule, taxes, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position does not include employee benefits.

The company will provide all required equipment necessary to perform job duties effectively. Contractors are responsible for safeguarding company-issued equipment, ensuring it is used appropriately, and reporting any technical issues immediately. Use of company equipment must align strictly with company policies.

Failure to meet performance standards, maintain accuracy, follow procedures, or adhere to contractual obligations may result in termination of the contract. This role requires a high level of discipline, focus, and commitment to excellence.
